Accounting Officer(Head Office)
Job Summary
Under the direction of the Manager, the incumbent is responsible for coordinating the daily activities, ensuring that proper documentations are in place to deal with all transaction submitted for processing, while liaising with Members of Parliament regarding status of account balances and payments. The officer is also responsible for submitting monthly reports.
Job Specification
AAT Level 2, ACCA Level 1 or Diploma in Accounting from a recognized institution.
Three (3) years’ experience in the related field.
Excellent knowledge of Government Accounting procedure & practices.
Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
Full command of Microsoft suite.
Excellent time management and organizing skills.
Ability to communicate effectively in both oral and written formats.
Ability to demonstrate high levels of initiative and professionalism.
Ability to plan work to meet timelines.
