Assistant Vice President for Sales and Client Services
The incumbent will be responsible for providing financial solutions to existing and potential clients.
Reporting to the Head of Sales and Financial Advisors, the main responsibilities are illustrated below:
Key Responsibilities
Attract new clients, and business from existing clients consistent with annual sales targets
Provide services to clients consistent with their expectations and the applicable standards established by the JN Group and JN Fund Managers
Create networks and establish relationships with centers of influence within the institutional, corporate, and high net worth space in order to establish a consistent flow of referrals and new business opportunities
Develop customer financial profiles to determine suitability of investment products based on financial position, resources, assets available to invest and financial goals
Create prospecting lists of new and existing clients, conduct needs analysis to identify the needs of the target market, and provide financial planning service in line with client needs and goals
Manage the selling of the company’s financial solutions to both individuals and corporations in order to meet assigned targets in both value and volume
Assume responsibility for the management of assigned client investment portfolios
Use software or fact finding sheet to collect data and analyse information using the macro-economic variables to determine appropriate recommendations for clients after meetings
Identify, discuss and recommend action to be taken by the client in line with their investment/portfolio
Assist with the preparation of presentations and other promotion activities
Assist with the collection and analysis of data to support management decision-making. Keep abreast of and analyse internal and external, local and international factors likely to impact the clients’ portfolio
Required Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Marketing, Management or related field
Must have at least three years’ financial advisor experience
Good understanding of monetary and fiscal policies
Working knowledge of financial markets (local and international)
Licensed by the Financial Services Commission (FSC)
Must have a current driver’s licence and own a reliable motor vehicle. Must be able to travel throughout Jamaica
