We are working with a client who is seeking to appoint an Associate Head of Operations - Temp contract initallty 6 months.
To assist the Head of Operations in managing all areas of operations and to deputise for the Head of Operations when required. Work in partnership with specialists, internally and externally, to improve our understanding and ability to support our Service Users to maximise their independence and potential.
Responsibilities of the role include;
- Oversee and enforce commitment that all Service Users have a right to live in a service that is good outstanding rated by our regulators.
- Ensuring that all services achieve and maintain a minimum of Good or Outstanding rating with CQC.
- Ensuring that all managers are supported and held accountable for effective workforce planning, recruitment and staff resource management.
- Actively aid succession planning and development of Registered Managers and Team Members to achieve full potential.
- Take a strategic overview, using the feedback collated from managers through the established systems, on all issues relating to Health and Safety and quality.
- Ensure that all residential houses under remit maximise income through void management.
- Responsibility for the management of the Safeguarding process.
Suitable applicants for this position would be from a Social Care or management background, transitional skills from School Senior Leaders from SEN provisions and AP and from Social Care Workers, with experience of managing teams in residential settings, operations experience and passionate about evolving and developing services for the best interests of the service users who are under the organisations care. The successful applicant will be a great communicator and dynamic in thier approach.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
