Teaching Personnel are recruiting for Teaching Assistants who specialise or have experience in delivering interventions/booster sessions.
In light of the recently announced 'catch-up' funding and the large chunk of learning that lots of children have missed out on, we are expecting a lot of our client schools to require support from teachers and teaching assistants who can deliver 1:1 and group sessions and catch up on missed curriculum. We are in the process of designing packages for schools that facilitate their requirements and so at this stage, we will be able to offer roles to both part-time and full-time Teaching Assistants in areas including Truro, Falmouth, Helston, Newquay and Liskeard.
We are ideally seeking candidates with some experience delivering boosters or interventions in Maths and English but are equally considering teaching assistants with a good amount of classroom experience who may have not delivered booster sessions before but have an excellent knowledge of the curriculum. These roles will be paid at GBP10.00 per hour and could range from being just until Christmas right up to July 2021. We are of course unsure of exactly the level of needs that schools may have in September but given our research and knowledge of the funding, we are confident that teaching assistants will be in a fantastic position to help with catching up after COVID.
If you are seeking something more flexible, we can also facilitate a large amount of day-to-day supply work. We will of course be ensuring that guidelines are adhered to with school bubbles and will ensure your safety when visiting different schools. Supply can offer a great deal of experince to newer TAs or recently qualified candidates, as well as offering a stress free and flexible option for experienced education professionals who just want a change.
