Bursar

Requirements
Bachelors’ Degree in Business Administration/Accounting or equivalent
ACCA Level II accreditation along with the revised Certificate in Government Accounting and a Diploma in Supervisory Management
At least five (5) years’ experience at a Senior Accounting level
Good working knowledge of the Education Sector
Excellent understanding of Accounting principles and practices
Excellent Computer Skills and understanding and grasp of Accounting-Software (preferably Quick Books) and Turbo Pay
Working knowledge of Financial Administration Audit Act will be an asset
Ability to plan and manage budgets
Proven Supervisory Management and Administration skills
Excellent human relations skills; ability to foster harmonious relations and team work, motivate and lead staff in the achievement of established goals
Proven Organizational skills and knowledge of supervisory management
Excellent communications skills, oral and written
Keen attention to accuracy and quality
Proven planning and analytical skills
Training in Procurement Guidelines and Government Accounting would be an asset
