A company is seeking to identify an experienced professional to fill the following post:
Business Application Support and Development Specialist

Position Description
Provide application support across the business and branches with specific focus on ERP applications, interfaces and in-house complimentary apps. Implementing software and taking it live to staff members while managing for seamless transitions achieving zero business disruptions. Offering support services for end users and coaching

The Main Responsibilities
Act as software assurance officer, ensuring that ERP applications used within the organization are used in compliance to the author defined terms, conditions and recommendations.
Provide technical assistance in the resolution of ERP application failures.
Conduct application-level tests to ensure that the application and interfaces behave as specified.
Act as internal consultant to end users ensuring that all ERP applications are assessed, implemented, maintained and aligned to changes in business needs.
Participate in acquiring user requirements and prepare detailed specification from which programs/reports will be written, modified, tested, debugged.
Incident/Request Management Support.
Provide reports and solutions to query and mine application data to provide insights for key end users.
Provide technical guidance or business process expertise on all business application and recommend the implementation of architecture changes that will support agility, scalability while maintaining the organization’s competitive advantage.
Manage, rate and review external providers and consultants.

Requirements
The preferred applicant should possess:
Degree in Computer Engineering or Computer Science
At least 4 years’ experience
Knowledge of SQL and Programming would be a distinct advantage
Strong Knowledge and aptitude in the areas of Programming Design and fundamental in PC workstations
Excellent Self and time-management skills. Able to organize own workload
Customer Service Orientation with a focus on excellence and innovation
Flexibility and ability to work in ambiguous and changing environment
Works well in a team environment
Analytical skills, interpreting complex business requirements
Experience with problem-solving, trouble-shooting and root cause analysis
Fundamentals in project management
Strong written and oral communication skills
