Business Development Representative- WFH (Inside Sales)
TheBusiness Development Representative(Inside Sales Representative) role is focused on working with Shyft’s move management team to identify and drive opportunities for Shyft’s end-clients: our customers.
The key goal of this role is to represent the company and be a selling point for both our unique software and our services. The role is adept at understanding the needs and process pains of customers who are moving - to identify different opportunities they might be interested in when it comes to the moving of their household items. You will have the exciting opportunity to be responsible for serving as the Moving Industry subject matter expert for customers, fostering a positive and collaborative experience for prospects to evaluate, engage with while implementing Shyft’s product and software.
Responsibilities:Secure new customer wins for Shyft’s moving and relocation services: Maximize up-sell and cross-sell opportunities collaborating with partner departments
Effectively turn prospects and qualified leads into opportunities and revenue pipeline by qualifying opportunities and selling with Shyft’s partners
Demonstrate verbally, in writing and through live product demos, how customers can capture value and envision their future with Shyft’s technologies
Leverage social, digital, video, chat, phone and demonstration environments to effectively reach, sell to and manage Shyft’s customers
Develop a thorough understanding of solutions and relevant business endeavors, and become proficient conducting high-level live video chats.
Being the first contact point for many customers, deliver a strong first impression, and set the foundation for long-term customer relationships.
Work in a fast-paced, collaborative and dynamic teaming environment to effectively manage opportunities and pipeline through the sales cycle
Requirements:Two (2) years’ experience in a sales and customer service environment;
At least two (2) years of technology related sales or business development experience;
Strong and stable internet connection to facilitate video calls with all customers;
An understanding and passion for technology, business drivers and customer engagement
Proven track record of outstanding performance and achieving goals
Exceptional interpersonal as well as verbal and written communication skills to succeed in a customer facing role
Ability to explain complex solutions to non-professional audiences and connect solutions with measurable business value
Success-driven, works well in a diverse team and enjoy a dynamic and changing environment
