Career Opportunities: Industrial Technician (2823)

Tomlinson is Eastern Canada’s leader in environmental, construction and transportation infrastructure services. Tomlinson Environmental Services is currently hiring an Industrial Technician for its Industrial Waste Division located in Kingston, Ontario.

Hourly Wage: $18.65-$21.25

DUTIES AND RESPONSILITIES

Conduct safety inspections on equipment
Ensure that we are meeting the highest possible customer satisfaction standards
Industrial cleaning and high-pressure washing
Confined space entry and rescue
Working at Heights
Coordinate onsite and offsite activities with dispatch
Other duties as required

REQUIREMENTS

Must have a valid “G” license minimum with a clean abstract, reliable transportation to and from work is required
Maintain and inspect trucks and equipment for safe operations
Industrial cleaning experience, high pressure washing, Industry experience would be an asset
Must be prepared to work flexible hours, responding to any after-hour calls and weekends (when required)
Ability to deal with customer’s onsite to ensure full understanding of task
Perform safety inspections on equipment ensuring compliance with workplace safety programs, Must have a strong safety knowledge
