A Christian-based organization is seeking to recruit a:
Chief Business/Accounting Manager
For its senior management team
The successful candidate, who will report to the Head of the organization, should possess the commercial acumen required to manage the organization’s business activities.

Key Functions
Manage the business activities to maximize earning capacity;
Oversee all aspects of the organization’s Accounts/Finance portfolio;
Prepare monthly financial statements and accompanying analysis, and present to the Board;
Manage the organization’s budgeting activities;
Manage the annual external audit process;
Prepare statutory returns and ensure timely entry and online payment via the tax portal;
Update and implement necessary business policies and accounting practices;
Oversee the administrative functions to ensure an efficient operation.

Core Requirements
At least a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or a related discipline or ACCA level 2;
At least 5 years’ experience as a senior Accountant;
Working knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS);
Working knowledge of QuickBooks and/or other accounting software;
Proficient in Microsoft Office Applications, including Excel and PowerPoint;
Excellent analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills;
Knowledge and experience in preparing payroll.
