Excelsior Community College, a Methodist Tertiary Institution, invites applications from suitably qualified persons to fill the following post:
College Nurse (Level 2)

Role & Core Functions include:
Providing general medical/first aid assistance to staff and students of the College as needed
Giving advice to staff and students on matters relating to health and wellness
Assessing, planning, evaluating and executing the healthcare programme of the College
Keeping students’ health records confidential
Making referrals to Dentists, Ophthalmologists, and other health professionals as needed
Conducting health screening to prevent epidemics

Required Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing
At least 3 years’ experience in clinical care
Current registration with the Nursing Council of Jamaica
Training in Midwifery will be an asset

Excellent customer service skills
Extremely confidential and caring
Attentive to detail and accuracy
Flexibility and willingness to work on shift
Competency with the Microsoft Suite
