Financial and Commercial Business Analyst

Job Purpose
To assist the implementation across Spectrum Capital Partners of financial analytics, business planning, operational analytics, forecasting, research, strategic planning, business planning, feasibility studies, surveys, project management, and related policies, objectives, and initiatives.
The Spectrum Capital Partners Business Analyst will identify, with the assistance of company managers and executives, the potential for and implementation of business models, processes, financial forecasting, and help examine products in development and in the market for their viability and sustainability.
He/She will be the coordinator of the business planning system, lead in customer research, feasibility studies, surveys, and new business modelling.
This position works under the supervision and guidance of the executives of Spectrum Capital Partners.

Job Responsibilities
Solve organizational challenges and requirements through analytical techniques; design financial models (including cash flow); produce reports; recommend system controls and protocols.
Research
Complete feasibility studies; undertake research on new business models, supply and demand chains, operational processes, and products; and general micro and macro economics
Conduct Industry Analysis and Competitive Reviews of the varying industries
Create proposals for investors, customers, and suppliers, across government, public-private partnerships, outsourcing, manufacturing and other sectors
Construct winning proposals under the guidance of the executives and Senior Management for Public Private Partnership
Modelling
Implement Business Planning and Modelling to operationalize products and services
Lead Scenario Modelling efforts for the development and growth of the portfolio
Undertake modelling and due diligence to meet the company’s goals
Planning & Reporting
Develop, implement and maintain SPECTRUM’s planning and analysis capability
Lead on strategic aspects of the annual operating plan and budget process for the company in support of the Senior Executives
Develop business models, business plans, financial forecasts and financial plans; identify implications, suggest key actions
Measure the performance of the Company’s portfolio of businesses
Report business unit and company consolidated financial and operational performance trends, historical and forecasted
Prepare presentations in support of board and shareholder meetings, monthly/quarterly senior leadership meetings and the company committees
Controls & Protocols
Report Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s) of efficiency and returns
Monitor product standards
Implement quality-control programs that promote best practice and drive continuous improvement
Establish, implement and monitor standard operating procedures
Develop Quality Assurance to achieve and maintain high quality product specifications
Identify and implement cost reduction opportunities
Projects
Establish projects; identify budget, milestones, phases, and elements; form project teams
Monitor and report project progress by tracking activity; make recommendations to resolve issues
Study and evaluate various businesses, systems and functions; Identify key capabilities and trends
Design and improve systems and processes through analysis; recommend improvements

Education & Experience
BSc. in Economics, Accounts, Business Administration, Management, Statistics, or a numeric subject
Four years’ experience in similar sector with some supervisory experience
Track record in financial modelling, and product development

Securities License
Ordinary Long-Term Insurance License
Certification in General Insurance
