This position is a full time permanent position paid to your current teaching scale with salary set between GBP24373 and GBP46877.

As a member of the humanities department you will be expected to show an outstanding level of teaching, and will be responsible for holding yourself, your team and your students to a high standard.
The academy is interested in an experienced teacher of history to join their progressive and ambitious department for the new academic year. You will be teaching a mixture of KS3 and KS4 on a full timetable with protected time throughout the week to allow for in-depth planning and differentiation within school to keep the work life balance. The humanities department are lucky to have a resource sharing area as well as a small staff room within their dedicated block and modern suite s and facilities. This should allow you to focus on the classroom and will help to streamline your time within school to produce and deliver high quality lessons.
