You will have carriage of or assist with Nicholson Phillips’ varied matters as well as being free to pursue your own matters, affording you the opportunity to better determine your own earning power.
Overview
Nicholson Phillips is an established Law firm with a corporate, commercial, real estate, private client and litigation practice operating in the heart of New Kingston, Jamaica. As part of their continued development they have opportunities for two independent lawyers to join their team of experienced lawyers.
The Role
This is a fantastic opportunity to take control of your career within a respected firm environment. This role is particularly suited to lawyers who have already begun to develop their own client base and have the ability to generate their own instructions but are open to receiving instructions from a regular source.
As self-employed Independent Counsel you will have more personal control over your professional life, flexible working conditions and the opportunity to drive your career in the direction you choose.
Applicants must hold a Legal Education Certificate and a current practicing certificate issued by the Council of Legal Education as well as have no unresolved matters presently before the Disciplinary Committee of the General Legal Counsel.
