Job Overview
Aftermarket Inbound Logistics team delivers transportation solutions that optimize the physical and system flow of parts through the inbound transportation network, with unified and consistent end-2-end (E2E) systems and processes. This summer internship involves utilizing technical, analytical and interpersonal skills to drive organizational change by working closely with DTNA employees and our business partners. The intern will bring their skills to the Aftermarket team to achieve the milestones in the Inbound Logistics Visibility project.
Responsibilities
- Support project milestones of the development and implementation of communication technology solutions internally and with business partners
- Complete value stream mapping and documentation of current process and future state based on insights gained during the implementation
- Present findings and recommend actions to the Aftermarket management team based on analysis of key performance indicators and associated metrics
- Track and monitor the benefits and cost savings of implemented solutions
- Conduct logistics partner evaluations and recommend actions to improve performance
