IT Analyst– Technical Product Management & Innovation
The IT Analyst’s role is to plan, design, develop, and launch efficient business, financial, and operations systems in support of core organizational functions and business processes. This includes gathering and analyzing data in support of business cases, proposed projects, and systems requirements. He/she will be required to work on scrum teams and to liaise with stakeholders in gathering requirements to formulate solutions and may be required to assist in quality assurance or user acceptance testing.

Key Responsibilities
Perform analysis of current business processes and systems, to create functional and solution design specification documents
Use product innovation and agile elicitation techniques to gather and document business requirements
Analyze data collected; recommend relevant, effective and practical solutions to issues identified
Create wireframes, workflows and business rules using diagramming tools to document and communicate requirements that are elegant and easily understandable
Update the product management wiki and other tools based on recommendations for improvements to the agile product management process
Create and update training and technical/ maintenance manuals for the various platforms
Create prototypes for Group IT labs or other strategic initiatives within their assign product/ platform
Perform technical/ system administration on system platforms, where necessary
Assist in performing QA and conducting UAT testing as a part of the scrum team
Research, review, and analyze the effectiveness and efficiency of existing business analysis processes and develop strategies for enhancing or further leveraging these processes
Lead design sessions in prototyping new systems for the purpose of enhancing business processes, operations, and information process flow
Identify and establish scope and parameters of systems analysis in order to define outcome criteria and measure-taking actions
Collaborate in the planning, design, development, and deployment of new applications, and enhancements to existing applications
Conduct research on software and hardware products to justify recommendations and to support purchasing efforts
Participate in the QA of purchased or developed solutions to ensure that the features and functions have been enabled and optimized
Participate in the selection of any software development lifecycle management tools/solutions
Required Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in software engineering, computer science or business administration
2+ years of relevant IT Supervisor, IT Project Management, Implementation Consultant or Business Analyst experience in an Agile software product development environment with Agile Scrum methodologies
Business Analysis Certification (ECBA, CCBA, CBAP or IIBA- AAC) highly desirable
Scrum Master, CAPM or PMP certification desirable, but not absolutely required
