The JN Group Limited is seeking to recruit a suitably qualified and experienced candidate to fill the position of:
IT Analyst– IT Governance and Portfolio Management
The IT Analyst will be required to plan, design, develop, and launch efficient information systems and operations systems in support of core organizational functions. He/she will be required to work on scrum teams and to liaise with stakeholders in gathering requirements to formulate solutions and ensure the output of the combined IT efforts satisfy the defined business objectives. The incumbent will possess a strong understanding of IT processes, project management and scrum methodology. The IT Analyst will be responsible for acquiring resources and coordinating efforts of the IT stream and third-party contractors or consultants, in order to deliver IT solutions according to agreed scope.

Key Responsibilities
Provide support to business initiatives requiring IT services to deliver solutions
Coordinate and agree IT scope of work for business initiatives
Ensure the business units understand the technology solution, overall solution delivery, and compliance to governance processes, architecture standards, etc.
Maintain portfolio listing of all IT supported initiatives
Act as IT Stream Lead on key initiatives
Liaise with stakeholders on an ongoing basis on behalf of the IT Stream
Plan and schedule timelines and milestones for IT activities using appropriate tools
Develop best practices and tools for coordination, execution and management
Participate in vendor selection activities
Draft and submit estimation of IT resource allocation and effort and costs to support initiatives
Acquire internal and external IT resources needed to support initiatives
Conduct IT vendor contract reviews within the prescribed vendor management framework
Determine and assess need for additional staff and/or consultants and make the appropriate recruitments if necessary during the delivery cycle
Analyze and verify requirements for completeness, consistency, comprehensibility, feasibility, and conformity to standards
Determine the frequency and content of status reports from the IT Stream, analyze results, and troubleshoot problem areas
Collaborate in the planning, design, development, and deployment of new applications, and enhancements to existing applications
Required Qualifications & Experience
Bachelor’s degree in software engineering, computer science or business administration
2+ years of relevant IT Supervisor, IT Project Management, Implementation Consultant or Business Analyst experience in an Agile software product development environment with Agile Scrum methodologies
Business Analysis Certification (ECBA, CCBA, CBAP or IIBA- AAC) highly desirable
Scrum Master, CAPM or PMP certification desirable, but not absolutely required
