This Oftsed rated ‘Good’ school requires for an experienced teaching assistant to join their team in September 2020 until the end of the Academic year.
The school is based in Middleton (M24) and has a great relationship with parents and the surrounding community. In this role you will be expected to support the teacher with group observations as well as helping with guided Reading, Literacy, Numeracy and Phonics. The ideal candidate will have experience of delivering phonics to small groups as well as having good behaviour management techniques. A proactive approach to assisting teaching and the ability to build good working relationships will be required.
Requirements:
- Have a Level 2 Teaching Assistant Qualification
- Phonics experience
- Demonstrate a willingness to support the Catholic ethos of the school. (All faiths are welcome to apply.)
- Are energetic and bubbly
- Exhibit excellent practice to inspire and motivate children
- Effective organisational skills to meet deadlines
- Good communication and sound interpersonal skills to build and maintain effective working relationships with pupils, colleagues and parents
- Show a commitment to professional development and reflective practice
- Demonstrate confidence and flexibility
