The Urban Development Corporation requires a:
Lifeguard– Closed Harbour Beach Park

Job Summary
The incumbent has the responsibility to maintain constant surveillance of patrons to the facility; acts immediately and appropriately to secure the safety of patrons in the event of an emergency.

The ideal candidate should have:
Specific Knowledge, Qualification and Experience
Secondary level education
Team Jamaica Certified
Certificate in First Aid and CPR
Valid Lifeguard Licences issued by NEPA and RLSSJ
Minimum of one (1) year experience in a similar position
Sound knowledge of life saving techniques, CPR and first-aid principles
Thorough knowledge and application of lifeguard surveillance and rescue techniques

Required Skills and Specialized Techniques
Ability to do continuous visual scanning and concentration for users of the facility
Good communication skills
Excellent interpersonal skills
Ability to work well in a team
