Manager, Debt Recording & Systems Support (GMG/SEG 3)– Vacant
Job Summary
Under the general supervision of the Director, Debt Operations, the Manager, Debt Recording and Systems Support has the responsibility of coordinating and supervising the maintenance of a comprehensive, reliable and efficient debt database to ensure prompt and accurate settlement of debt service obligations. This involves collecting, storing, processing, validating and disseminating debt data by:
Maintaining records of all debt contracts, disbursements, debt restructuring and issued guarantees;
Organizing the provision of debt information and statistics to meet the demand of other units and external stakeholders, while ensuring accuracy and timely response to such needs;
Key Responsibility Areas
Manage the debt databases.
Provide debt reports based on accurate debt data.
Ensure that the Debt Management Branch receives the necessary management information support in all its computerized activities in a timely manner.
Provide regular daily services including resolving certain technical problems that may arise so as to minimize downtimes.
Ensure that computer systems are operational and meet user requirements.
Prepare the annual public debt estimates of expenditure.
Manage Unit and Staff in the achievement of the above-mentioned strategic objectives.
Required Knowledge, Skills and Competencies
Technical
Knowledge in CS-DRMS.
Knowledge of domestic money market instruments.
Knowledge of SQL (Structured Query Language) and CS-DRMS report writer tool.
Knowledge of MSQL Server and networking tools and applications.
Knowledge of CSD.
Knowledge of standards and procedures in maintenance and development of information processing systems.
Knowledge of database principles.
Good understanding of management principles and practices.
Knowledge of loan agreements.

Minimum Qualifications and Experience
BSc. Computer Science/Business Administration or equivalent qualifications
