Manager – Site Support

Job Purpose
Reporting to the Department Head, Client and Site Support, the Manager Remote Site Support plans, coordinates and organize end-user support to the company’s external clients. The incumbent supervises a Team of Engineers and assists with the implementation and maintenance of the company’s Application Software and related Hardware Island wide; assesses Information Technology (IT) infrastructure to ensure adequacy, makes recommendations for infrastructure optimization; coordinates site visits of vendors; prepares recommendations and reports.

Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering or equivalent from a recognised tertiary institution.
Three (3) years management experience in a similar or related capacity or five (5) years hands-on experience in the provision of technical support for at least three major Information Technology Solutions.

Good analytical/logical, planning and organizational skills
Very good team-building, leadership and coaching skills
Excellent interpersonal and people management skills
Ability to manage complex issues
Strong knowledge of Computer Networking, Voice, Data and Power infrastructure
