Do you have experience in pastoral support within a primary school and seeking a new challenge from September? We are supporting a large school in the Truro area who are recruiting for an experienced teaching assistant to join their pastoral team. The successful applicant would be required to work collaboratively with the Headteacher, SENCO and class teachers to support a range of pupils within KS1 and KS2. THRIVE experience/knowledge would be desirable but not essential, but it's imperative that you have at least 2 years of experience supporting SEN within a primary school or with primary aged pupils in another setting.
You will be required to work Monday to Friday, 8:30am to 3:15pm, term-time only from September 2020 (although there may be an opportunity to start sooner during the Summer term 2020). The school are very inclusive and put a real focus on providing an excellent provision for children with SEMH and SEN needs.
