eGov Jamaica Limited invites applications from suitably qualified persons to fill the position of:
Programmer Analyst (ECM)
Job Purpose
To analyze the Enterprise Content Management (ECM) business requirements; prescribe or recommend solutions; and design, develop and validate the solutions against business requirements; make detail-level decisions regarding development, configuration, and implementation activities. The incumbent will also have responsibility for maintaining the programming environment in accordance with established guidelines, develop program revisions and documentation specification in accordance with established programming standards.
Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree preferably in Computer Science, Information Technology or Management Information System from a recognized tertiary institution.
Familiar with agile software development methodologies such as SCRUM.
Experience in Server Configuration.
Basic Knowledge of Messaging and Web Services.
Advanced Knowledge of Database, Concepts and Writing SQL Queries.
Advanced Programming & Logic writing skills in JAVA.
Develops site specific components, configuration rules, workflow processes and reports using Microsoft Visual Studio.NET and other appropriate and available design tools.
Experience in writing unit tests using a Unit Testing Framework.
Professional qualifications or training in ECM-related courses would be an asset.
