To support the delivery of the Foundation’s role under the JN Circle Initiative

About the JNF
The JN Foundation is the philanthropic arm of the Jamaica National Group. The Foundation is a non-profit organization whose vision is to empower and regenerate rural communities throughout Jamaica.
The JN Foundation works with internal and external partners to identify, develop and provide technical and financial support to projects and programmes that focus on issues relating to rural development, health, housing, education, youth, community, crime & safety and climate change.

The JN Foundation is a strategic co-partner for the JN Circle – an initiative of the JN Group. The Foundation’s work supports the achievement of the JN Circle CAN Mandate with respect to identifying and implementing initiatives that enrich lives and build communities.
The Foundation works to support the achievement of the JN Circle’s CAN mandate in three primary areas – strategic direction, people empowerment and community building.

About the Role
This is a 2 year contract post operating out of the JN Foundation and that will report to the General Manager, JN Foundation.

Terms of Reference
Develop and implement initiatives that drive active engagement and development of JN Circle members
Develop content and material for programming to drive empowerment of members of the JN Circle
Manage implementation of all project deliverables in accordance with provided guidelines
Provide day to day management of all activities and resources under the project in order to meet project deliverables
Manage the project portfolio with integrity, transparency and in an auditable format Implement a monitoring and evaluation framework and ensure accurate and relevant reporting on a timely basis;
Build and maintain strong cooperative relationships with all participants, including partner organizations, stakeholders, and beneficiaries.

Qualifications, Skills, Competencies
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, Social Science, or a related discipline
At least two (2) years’ experience in a similar position
At least two (2) years’ demonstrated experience in managing budgets
Demonstrated experience at driving vibrant social media communications & interactions
Excellent written, oral & presentation skills
Excellent attention to detail
Ability to work well as part of a diverse team in a dynamic environment
Passion for people and their development
