Quality Assurance Technician

The Quality Assurance (QA) Technicianis responsible for collecting data and completing reports which are used in ensuring that production output and processes comply with applicable standards and specifications.

Responsibilities:

Perform random quality checks on various products to include weight, temperature, microbial content and other variables
Perform pre and post-operational sanitation checks
Analyze water sample using test kit
Observes work practices to ensure compliance of GAP, GMPs, SOPs , HACCP and Good Personal Hygiene
Provide critical support during internal and external audits to maintain and achieve new and current certifications

Requirements:

A minimum of three (3) years experience in a similar role
Bachelor’s degree in Natural sciences/ Associate degree in Agriculture or equivalent qualification.
Training in ISO quality management systems, GAP, HACCP and GMP.
Must possess a valid JamaicanDriver’s Licence
Keen attention to details; high accuracy
Inquisitive mind; able to identify problems and recommend solutions
Proven ability to work in a team
