Teaching Personnel are working with a one-form entry primary school who are currently looking for a reception class teacher to join their team for September 2020. This one-form entry primary school is based in the Maidstone area. The reception class teaching position is due to start in September 2020 (depending on the school closures) is a long-term position for a full academic year.
This one-form entry primary school rated 'GOOD' during their recent Ofsted inspection believe in putting the children in the heart of everything they do. This school enables children to shine giving them the opportunities, responsibility and trust needed to learn for themselves, and explore/use their talents.
The leadership team of this one -form entry primary school is looking for an inspirational Reception class teacher who believes in the power of play and outdoor learning. A reception class teacher who can provide time and space and appropriate interventions and resources to support children's play. You will be working with a team of highly skilled professionals who use play and the Early Years Framework seamlessly as they believe play children develop language skills. And, their emotional and creative, social and intellectual skills are practiced, explored and developed.
To be short listed for this Reception Class Teaching position for September 2020, you need to have:
.Thorough knowledge of the Foundation Stage Curriculum
. Exceptional phonics and literacy experience
. The desire to inspire each child in your care to explore the world around them both indoors and outdoors
. Proven track record working within a reception class within a UK primary school setting
. Be able to use nature and the outdoors to extend learning
. Be a team player and have a sense of humor
