Records Officers/Cashiers (Level 2)– 5 Posts

Job Purpose
Under the direct supervision of the Senior Fisheries Extension Officer and the Operations Manager, the Records Officer (Cashier – Fuel Sub Station) is responsible for safe custody and lodgment of all funds received on behalf of the National Fisheries Authority as well as the issuing of licenses and permits to qualified fishermen, fishing vessels and owners of said vessels which grants them permission to fish in Jamaican waters in keeping with the Fisheries Act.

Minimum Required Qualification and Experience
Four (4) passes in CXC/GCE O’ Level including English Language, Mathematics, and Accounts
Certificate in Government Accounting Level 1
One (1) year experience in a similar capacity
