Reporting to the Manager Regional Fire Services: Coordinates and monitors standards in regional fire operations, with an emphasis on the implementation of complex fire operational plans at a division wide level exists; including supporting regional preparation and delivery of prescribed burning and associated fire planning work, and bushfire preparedness and response.
Liaises with regional fire management staff to ensure fire programs are effective and cost efficient with regard to the application of operational resources and staff are appropriately trained and prepared.
Provides a senior (state level) coordination role in interagency fire management operations.
