Regional Personnel Officer(GMG/AM4)
The incumbent’s core responsibilities will include:
Core Responsibilities
Assisting with the administration of personnel functions for the WRHA – Regional 0ffice staff.
Coordinating the activities of the Performance Appraisal Management System.
Processing and maintaining records of all appointments and promotions made by the WRHA Board of Management.
Coordinating staff welfare activities for the Regional Office staff.
Maintaining Travel Register for the Regional Office.
Specific Knowledge/Skills Required
Sound knowledge of the Staff Orders, Public Service Regulations, Labour Laws and the Health Authority’s Human Resource Policies and Procedures.
Sound skills in Database Management and Record Keeping.
Strong oral and written communication skills.
Excellent planning, organizing and time management skills.
Well-developed analytical and problem solving skills.
Ability to provide effective leadership and plan, organize and coordinate the work of others.
Excellent interpersonal and social skills.
High degree of initiative and creativity.
Sound knowledge of the strategic planning process.
Sound knowledge of managing complex systems.
Qualification & Experience
Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resource Management/Public Administration/Business Management or equivalent.
Minimum of two (2) years’ experience in Human Resource Management.
