Science Teacher - Grantham - Full Time - Behaviour Specialist Setting
A specialist behaviour (SEMH) school are looking for a Science Teacher to join their team from September. The role is needed initially on a supply basis with the possibility of becoming permanent for the right person.
Responsibilities of the role will include:
- Planning and preparing lessons under the guidance of another teacher
- Successfully managing challenging behaviour in the class as and when it arises
- Working productively with the TA support in your class
- Delivering engaging lessons
The perfect Teacher would have previous experience of supporting people with challenging behaviour and qualified teacher status however most important is the right attitude. You will need to be open and have a good sense of humour. Team Teach would also be beneficial but training can be provided.
Working hours are between 8.30 am and 3.30pm with possible extracurricular activities from time to time. The school is graded Good and has a supportive and encouragement management team.
