The Position
We are looking for a Senior Actuarial Analyst to develop and support the Pricing, Reserving and Analytics of Arch’s UK Regional business
Job Responsibilities
• Pricing of the UK Regional products – these include mid-market and SME Commercial P+C, Commercial Motor, Household and Travel• Contribute to the quarterly reserving processes of the division• Develop and maintain performance analysis processes, to track profitability, growth and other KPIs• Ensure all necessary deliverables are met in an accurate, timely fashion• Take a leading role within the team, providing guidance to colleagues as appropriate• Scope to work with the wider Actuarial department on London Market and International insurance business

• Ability to consistently work to a high degree of precision• Excellent verbal and written communication skills• Ability to successfully juggle multiple tasks simultaneously, to tight deadlines• Ability to work individually using own initiative, and also be a strong team player• Desire to constantly seek improvements to systems and processes• A flexible and enthusiastic approach with a strong appetite to learn and develop
Desired Skills/Experience
• 3+ years of GI pricing/reserving/analysis experience• History of successfully delivering projects/tasks• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Excel• Significant experience with some/all of ResQ, Emblem, SQL, PowerBI, VBA, and Python an advantage
Education
• A 1st or 2nd class maths/business degree• Nearly/newly qualified member of the IFoA (candidates who are not studying or have stopped exams will also be considered)
