NHS England, Public Health England, and Diabetes UK have committed to improving efforts to prevent diabetes and this collaborative programme aims to help the 5 million people who are at risk of developing the disease.
We are now looking to appoint someone as the Senior Engagement Officer for our Greater Manchester contract.
What you will be doing
As the Senior Engagement Officer, you will also establish and maintain the close working relationships with primary care in order to support the ongoing referral generations and registrations which means we can help more people.
Working alongside the CCG and Public Health authorities you will support with delivering engagement events which will generate further interest towards our programme.
As the senior head in the engagement team, you will oversee a team of engagement officers and support them with generating further referrals into the NDPP service for Greater Manchester. In addition, you will steer the team towards meeting the contract KPI’s and bring the best out of the team through holding 1:1 and team meetings.
How we continue to improve on our delivery of the NDPP is the key in our success and for this to continue, you will compile reports which will include the feedback we receive from our service users.
Who are we looking for?
First and foremost, here is what we are looking for:
Previous people management experience.
A background in primary care, public health and NHS.
Ability to create comprehensive draft reports, data and letters.
Someone with great analytical skills who can interpret information and present this clearly.
