Sr. Front End Developer - JavaScript - Angular - Oracle - XML

This is a genuinely fantastic opportunity to work for one of the most prestigious EU Institutions in Europe.

We are on the lookout for a Sr. Front End Developer with a degree, plus minimum of 13 years experience.

These are long term contracts with a very high chance of renewal. The longer you work there, the more valuable you become and this means that you could stay there for years.

In addition, they are not just looking for a standard Developer; they want people who can make a contribution to the team, who can bring new ideas and who can continue to learn and improve.
* Masters degree years experience
* Excellent written and oral command of English.
* Skills in Front End development: JavaScript ES6, CSS, HTML are essential;
* Experience with at least one but preferably more than one of AngularJS, Angular, React or Vue;
* Experience with Server Side development in at least one of the following technologies: Node.js; Python; Ruby; Perl; PHP; Java or C#/.NET;
* Knowledge and experience of both relational and noSQL databases eg Oracle, MySQL, MongoDB;
* Experience with version control systems - particularly Subversion and Git;
* Some understanding of browsers and web technology in general;
* Experience with XML technologies;
* Basic UNIX/Linux skills essential (sufficient to manage files and configure web Servers over an ssh console connection);
* Some knowledge of web Servers, networking, how the Internet works;
* Windows or Mac OS knowledge;
* Capability to write clear and structured technical documents.

* Note * Working from home will be likely be required initially. However, You would be expected to work full time on-site after the travel restrictions are lifted.
