Post and Telecommunications Department invites applications from suitably qualified persons to fill the following position:
Special Investigator (GMG/SEG 1)– Contract 2 Year

Job Summary
The Special Investigator is required to investigate criminal and unauthorized activities relating to postal operations. The incumbent also assists local law enforcement with investigations relating to break-ins, robberies and the transportation of critical assets.

Key Responsibilities
Reviews security arrangements and makes recommendations;
Conducts analysis and evaluation of procedures in mail operations; Investigates incidence of fraud and theft;
Inspects, monitors and supervises contracted Private Security team;
Reviews security arrangements and make recommendations.

Required Knowledge/Competencies
Excellent investigating skills;
Good knowledge of security architecture;
Good written and oral communication skills.

Qualification, Experience and Training
First Degree in Management Studies, Business Administration or equivalent from an accredited tertiary institution;
Training in Security Management and Intelligence Methodology would be an asset;
Possess at least 10 years’ experience in security field/operations (experience in law enforcement (JCF) or military (JDF) would be an asset.
