North Coast Hotel is seeking to engage a qualified and experienced:
Tax Analyst
To join their dynamic team
Responsibilities and duties include but not limited to:
Provide updates on tax matters, foreign trade, withholdings paid abroad, GART and statutory deductions
Calculation of tax depreciation on fixed assets
Provide support for tax audits and answer to inquiries from various taxing jurisdictions
Ensure the organization is current with tax obligations
Filing and presentation of returns
Review and approve all payments and returns by tax vendors on a weekly, biweekly, monthly, quarterly, or annual basis
Regularly perform audits on the system to ensure data integrity
Responsible for the reconciliation of payroll tax account balances and other payroll functions as required
Liaise with tax agencies for timely resolution of all payroll tax related issues
Prepare all financial information to include sales, excise tax retums and ensure compliance
Maintain and reconcile all tax general ledger accounts and evaluate all account balances
The suitable candidate should possess the following requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or its equivalent
ACCA Level 2
Three (3) or more years’ experience in required field
Excellent communication, analytical skills, motivated, honest and confident
Proficient in MS Office suite
Should be able to work independently with minimal supervision
Must have the ability to interface with other departments in a professional manner
Knowledge of IFRS, TAJ portal
