The American International School of Kingston (AISK) is an independent Preschool through Grade 12 which is seeking to urgently fill the following position in August 2021:
Technology Director

Requisites
Master’s Degree in relevant field along with Teacher Certification
At least 10 years teaching experience
Must possess the skills in teaching school children as well as educators and other adults
High level of instructional proficiency with technology and multimedia
Must be highly proficient in Schoology and Power School

Job Description
The job includes but is not confined to the following:
Work with the senior education team in creating, implementing, sustaining and expanding the Technology Plan
Collaborate with the IT Systems Manager, Technical Staff, Computer Specialists, Elementary IT Specialist, Head of School and Principals to promote learning
Systematically evaluate and plan for the development and implementation of current and new effective technology solutions in line with AISK procedures
Conduct technology orientation for regular training for teachers and staff, develop training handbooks and guidelines as needed
Assist the Head of School in the recruitment, development and assignment of the IT staff
