As a Trainee Designer at Primark, you’ll support the assistant designer, designer and buying teams in researching and designing a commercial range including, trend, colour and range direction.
As a trainee, you’ll follow design briefs, create strong graphics and prints, complete daily trend research and support the wider team with deadlines, files and preparations for meetings with suppliers.
What we’re looking for:
- Super creative and innovative. You’ll need to have a creative flair with a hunger to create fun, fresh new ideas and designs. You will need a working knowledge of Adobe Creative Cloud; Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign and Excel.
- A real team player. You will play a key role in supporting the wider team in daily tasks, research and communications.
- Commercially aware. Staying ahead of trends and researching new ideas is vital in the role to have a competitive advantage over other retailers.
- Flexible and adaptable. Your role will require you to work under pressure and multi task and react swiftly to changing business needs.
- Detail obsessed. Ensuring that all admin, deadlines and designs are complete efficiently and precisely.
