Tuition available from September 2020 onwards I am looking for tutors who have experience of delivering the national curriculum for English and maths up to GCSE level.
** Most students are secondary age and NEET (not in education, employment or training)
** Most students will require functional skills English and maths, some will require GCSE foundation grades 1-4
** Locations include South East London (primarily Greenwich) and North East London (primarily Haringey)
** Most students are two hours per day, 5 days per week. You can take on more than one student at a time if you want more hours of work
** Reasons that students are out of education include permanent exclusions, mental health difficulties including anxiety and depression, special needs including autism, ADHD, ODD, and children who are new to the borough, including looked after children who are coming to new foster placements
Applicants with teaching qualifications (PGCE, PGDE, PTLLS, DTLLS, DET etc) are highly desirable. You do not need to be a qualified teacher, however if you do not have a teaching qualification, you must have proven experience of successfully delivering tuition for English and maths instead.
