Vice Principal – Administration & Operations
Summary of Position
Under the direction of the Principal, the Vice Principal Administration and Operations will serve as the chief administrative services officer of the College and will be responsible for providing leadership and administrative oversight for planning and directing the business office and risk management functions, public information, physical facilities, grounds, security, procurement and auxiliary services, including but not limited to, intercollegiate athletics, campus housing and food services.
The incumbent will have primary leadership responsibilities for planning, implementing, and coordinating the administrative programs of the College. In assuming these responsibilities, the Vice Principal must work closely with Academic Deans, other administrators, and members of the faculties. He/she Will also provide leadership for all facilities planning and construction and other duties/projects which are assigned.
Ideally Candidates should:
Be able to work on own initiative
Be able/willing to work flexible hours when necessary
Be able to organize resources and establish priorities
Required Qualification/Experience
At least a master’s degree level in a business course or Leadership, Administration & Management in Education experiences or a Ph. D. in a related area or be a certified Public Accountant.
Must have at least seven (7) years’ experience in administrative, leadership and management in a similar environment-such as another government institution.
Must have experience managing large teams of people and a large budget. Demonstrated experience with strategic planning, strong fiscal management, linking resource allocation to planning and priorities.
