Accounting Manager
Job Summary
The Accounting Manager has overall responsibility for the functions of the Payables Unit and the Compliance Unit; management of inventory controls; whilst also providing oversight and support of Subsidiaries’ financial and management reporting.
The ideal candidate should have:
Specific Knowledge, Qualification and Experience
A first degree in Accounting, Finance or Business Administration
Completion of or pursuing ACCA Level 3 would be an advantage
Minimum of five (5) year’ experience in financial accounting at a middle management or senior level with a medium or large organization
Experience in implementing management control system
Working knowledge of Financial Systems – General Ledger, Financial Reporting
Knowledge of computer applications with proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
Sound knowledge of management accounting systems, policies and procedures
Required Skills and Specialized Techniques
Ability to interpret financial statements and management reports
Ability to communicate effectively, both written and orally
Well-developed analytical, supervisory and personal/human relations skills
Sound administrative and organizational skills
