The University of Technology, Jamaica (UTech, Jamaica) seeks to identify suitable candidates to fill the following post:
Audit Assistant – Level 7(Permanent)

Academic Requirements
First Degree in Accounting/Business Administration/Management or equivalent qualification
OR
Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) certification

Additional Requirements
Knowledge of the University of Technology, Jamaica Act, 1999, Charter, Statues, Ordinances, Rules, Regulations, Policies and Procedures;
Knowledge of Government of Jamaica’s laws and other government regulations;
Knowledge of accounting principles, practices and standards;
Sound knowledge of Auditing Standards;
Specialized training in report writing, sampling techniques;
Excellent analytical, interviewing, research and investigative skills;
Excellent communication, interpersonal, human relations organizing and time management skills; and
At least two (2) years’ experience as an Audit Assistant
