GRADEMAN

Our Heavy Civil Division is looking for a Grademan. This candidate will work under the supervision of a foreman setting grades, checking elevations, dumping trucks, and working with heavy equipment.

Responsibilities and Experience

Ability to read construction drawings and pull information to set proper grades
Proficient with the operating of a rotating laser level and be able to work with GPS , would be a great
Ability to read plans and mathematically inclined to accurately complete many functions of the job
Installation of stakes as required for layout purposes
Must be able to walk long distances and do any groundwork essentials to the completion of the contract
Measures distances from reference points to locate boundaries of construction site
Have an understanding of the issues involving ground disturbance and ability to work in and implement safe work practices and contribute to a safe work environment
