Digital Support Specialist
The successful candidate will be responsible for fulfilling, analysing and strategically optimizing interactive advertising campaigns and other touchpoints for The Gleaner’s digital products, and act as the expert for all integrated digital media placements.
Responsibilities
Schedule, launch and maintain campaigns and other digital touchpoints and manage related changes, ensuring they are implemented with speed, precision and accuracy.
Assist the engagement and retention team to advance the improvement of customer retention rates through postings, campaign analyses, user experience, communications and applying available media solutions.
Perform effectiveness reviews regularly to ensure marketing expectations are exceeded.
Analyze campaign performance statistics and recommend the necessary media solutions.
Provide technical support and expertise to the subscription, other commercial digital content, and print product/content teams.
Monitor and recommend appropriate and available inventory for marketing executions on website/social media and mobile platforms while considering new packages, programs, and sponsorships.
Support the Advertising and Commercial Services Department to implement effective advertising and campaign strategies.
Posting of commercial content.
Excellent reporting and presentation skills including proficiency in Microsoft365 PowerPoint, Word, and Excel.
Requirements
Degree or diploma in Marketing, Communications, Digital Marketing, or related field
Minimum of one year of experience in a professional digital marketing environment
Strong verbal and written communication skills
Strong analytical and interpersonal skills
Ability to manage time well
Google AdWords certification would be an asset
