Teaching Personnel are working closely with schools in Truro and are currently looking to recruit a Higher Lever Teaching Assistant to work in KS1.
As the new academic year gets closer, the race is officially on to fill these positions and we need YOU!
Within this class, your role will be to:
- Assist small groups of children with mixed learning ability reach their potential
- Support 1:1 with any child who may need additional help
- Occasionally teach your own class
- Cover planned absences
- Support the class teacher
- Encourage learning
To become a HLTA, you must have:
- Previous classroom experience
- Any relevant training/qualifications
- Previous experience working alongside children
- GCSE or equivalent in Maths/English
- A full UK Driving Licence
- References from your two most recent employers
