JOB SUMMARY:The Human Resources Coordinator is responsible for supporting the various HR functions in a coordinating role which includes support to. This position carries out responsibilities in the following functional areas: onboarding and orientation, end to end file management, benefits administration, policy implementation, and employment law compliance
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
Conducting orientations and onboarding new hires.
Maintaining the HR Management Systems.
Maintain end to end employee file management process in electronic and paper form.
Fulfill employment verification requests and job letters.
Coordinating the enrollment, de-enrollment, claims and tracking for health and life insurance.
Manage the work permit/CME process for prospective foreign employees.
Provide coordination and support to the HR team in capturing data, research for HRprogrammes, initiatives and investigations.
Coordinating the IT requests for addition and removal of leaders for the MBJ leadershipdistribution lists.
Generate a variety of HR reports using the HR Management Systems for People Success andother business partners.
Identify and make recommendations for People Success process improvements.
Performs other duties as assigned,eg.Receptionist Duties.
QUALIFICATION AND EXPERIENCE:
Associate Degree in Business Administration or related field.
1+ years of related experience
Knowledge of fair Labour Laws and Labour practices
Experience supporting hourly employees and client groups
Knowledge of HR Systems
KEY COMPETENCIES:
Strong communication skills (oral/written)
Proficient in Microsoft Word, Outlook, PowerPoint and Excel. Experienced with Google Docs
Excellent time and project management skills.
Adaptability to learn a variety of software programs.
Strong Analytical and problem solving skills.
