The Jamaica Defence Force Co-Operative Credit Union Ltd. is seeking an:
Information Technology (IT) Support Officer

Job Summary
Under the general direction of the IT Manager, the incumbent is required to provide technical assistance to end users, troubleshooting and maintenance support for all IT infrastructures within the Credit Union.

Key Responsibilities
Provide user and customer support for the Credit Union’s Management Information System.
Develop, maintain and support the Credit Union’s communications systems.
Perform data integrity operations in accordance to regulatory policies.
Configure and maintain the Credit Union’s network and other service/end point peripherals for access to the Credit Union’s system.
Provide maintenance, development and user support on online platform (intranet, website, internet, security platform etc.)

The Requirements
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science.
A minimum of two years’ experience in computing in a service-oriented environment.
Knowledge of Linux or other Unix Based System.
Knowledge of Java Script, PHP and Word Press or other programming Language Knowledge of cyber security (Fortigate Systems).
Knowledge of digital print/design.
Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Program.
Excellent knowledge of Desktop and Network Operations.
Sound knowledge of Programming and Database Management.
Good oral and written communication skills.
