Learning Support Assistant - · To work one to one with a named pupil in KS2
- · 19 hours per week LSA
- · Term time only (39 weeks)
We are seeking a Learning Support Assistant to joina happy, thriving and successful primary school basedin Camberwell. Good levels of literacy and numeracy, experience with SEN, and the ability to communicate effectively with colleagues, parents and SEN professionals is a requirement, as is a passion for and commitment to working with children with special needs.
- · This post would suit an experienced Teaching Assistant or an aspiring teacher and would provide an excellent opportunity to acquire the skills and experience necessary to apply for teacher training. You must be willing to undertake professional development as required.
- Ideally a qualification in childcare but not essential
- · Experience in a school environment but not essential. Literacy skills to complete accident forms, read policies, e.g. Health and Safety, confidentiality, school rules.
