Job Overview
This position will be responsible payroll processing for 7 legal entities and 16 union contracts across the DTNA organization. This includes weekly and biweekly payroll, but also bonus payout processing, relocation related payroll, company car allocation, etc. Not only does this position ensure that all these requirements are met, it will also oversee year-end requirements, identify and implement process improvements and supervise/develop staff members in Portland, Detroit and Fort Mill.
Responsibilities
- Manage payroll staff in the processing of weekly, biweekly, and monthly payrolls for the 7 legal entities and 16 union contracts processed by DTNA.
- Process special payrolls and gross-up’s for variable pay, DDC PAA, P3 Bonus, PPSP, relocation, car values, etc.
- Process year-end schedule.
- Finalize current year payroll, update all benefit deductions and run payrolls for the new year.
- Implement payroll changes as required by company management.
- Perform thorough problem analysis and provide resolutions.
- Identify/drive process improvements and automation opportunities.
- Drive changes to save time and costs to the business and improve data integrity.
- Provide leadership to team by prioritizing tasks, goals, schedules and objectives.
- Process in bound interface files; time & attendance, benefits, etc., plus all outbound interfaces.
- Assist Manager HR Service Center with payroll reserves, expatriate processing
- Assist Manager HR Service Center with documenting all processes and procedures.
