Responsibilities
Direct and manage all aspects of the manufacturing process for assigned area of responsibility including daily feedback to management of process quality and throughput
Supervisory responsibility includes management of employee performance, discipline, and development, and employee schedules
Provide technical expertise in assigned area to resolve operational issues and ensure corrective actions are implemented
Qualifications
Minimum of an Associates Degree
2+ years of supervisory experience within a manufacturing environment preferred
Must be self motivated with excellent interpersonal communication skills
Candidate should have excellent mechanical aptitude and be able to lift 50 lbs.
Sound knowledge of management principles and controls relevant to manufacturing operations, materials management, production planning, and personnel administration policies.
Ability to motivate associates and hourly employees in a fair and professional manner
Proficient with computer systems and software packages such as Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, and e-mail.
Experience with ISO-9001/GMP Quality Systems is a plus
Understanding of OSHA and other relevant safety regulations and labor practices
