A Civil Society Advocacy Organisation invites suitably qualified persons with a heart for nation building and development to apply for a full time position as:
Research Officer
To conduct research in areas pertaining to good governance and public accountability.

Scope of Work
Developing, conducting, managing and reporting on research activities for the organization using diverse, acceptable research methods and presenting findings to various target audiences, ranging from private sector, public sector, non-government and academic stakeholders.

Research will include but are not limited to:
Reviewing reports prepared by government oversight agencies
Identifying and documenting accountability issues arising from public administration
Providing data entry and analysis with credibility and accuracy being paramount
Submission of prepared reports on the research process
Assisting the Lead Researcher with generating content for educational products and reports etc.
Organization of related external workshops or events Perform other duties as required for the efficient completion of projects

Qualifications/Requirements
Bachelor’s Degree (in Law, Public Administration or Political Science, an asset)
Relevant experience conducting or supporting research actions
Transferable skills such as graphics design, social media engagement highly valued
Excellent presentation, writing and organizational skills and attention to detail
Ability to work independently with consistent use of initiative, is crucial
