A popular sales and manufacturing company in the Mandeville area is seeking the services of a highly motivated and mature individual to fill the position of:
Senior Accountant
The ideal candidate should possess great communication skills, be computer literate and familiar with using accounting software, be knowledgeable about Jamaican Tax Laws and have working knowledge of IAS and IFRS standards.

The successful candidate will be responsible for the following:
Preparing payroll
Ensuring the company is compliant with all government requirements
Preparing monthly financial reports and analyzing same
Leading the development of cost saving measures
Overseeing accounts payables and receivables functions
Inventory Maintenance
Liaising with external auditors when necessary

The qualifications and minimum requirements for this position are as follows:
BSc. in Business Administration with a major in Accounting
At least 5 years’ experience in a similar position
Excellent time management skills
Ability to meet tight deadlines
Knowledge and experience in Quick-books
Accounting Software will be an asset
